Dried beef with dried chillies (Shakam Shukam Datsi)

Here is the recipe of my favourite dish, the famous ” Shakam Shukam Datsi”. The most sought after dish among the locals.  Shakam is the dried beef, Shukam refers to the golden brown dried chillies and Datsi, of course is the Cheese.

Ema Shukam; are chillies that are first blanched in hot water and then dried in the sun. It has a different taste and when cooked together with Sha-kam and Datsi, a finger licking- mouth watering delicacy comes into being.
