Gondo Tshoem
Gondo (both singular and plural :P) (just realised) means egg-s. A simple recipe that i learned from my best friend. This egg dish will ALWAYS remind me of her and our crazy times spent together.
Its very simple and fast to cook and delicious to eat…saves the day when one is lazy to cook 🙂 or when you need something that goes fast.
Ingredients;
1 medium Tomato
1 medium Onion
1 Chilli pepper (more or less as desired)
1 Tbsp Margarine/Butter/cooking oil
150-200 ml water
1 Egg
Salt & pepper to taste
1. Rinse the veggies, chop the tomato and onion into dices, and cut the chilli into slices. Transfer all into a pot. Add water, butter and salt. Cover and cook on a medium heat for 5 minutes.
2. Stir gently. Break in the egg, wait few seconds and then stir gently. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy. Can be enjoyed as a soup or with rice.
